Merton Youth Partnership is a cross-sector partnership which supports the provision of a range of services to young people in Merton. It focuses on the needs of young people aged 8–25 years, but particularly targets young people 13–19. Funding and Commissioning Update
Keith Shipman and Joyce Harvie (London Borough of Merton)
Keith and Joyce will be giving us an update on the latest funding position for young peoples’ services in Merton.
London Youth Quality Mark (AQYP)
Rob Mobile (MVSC)
10 groups are currently undergoing the London Youth Quality Mark in Merton as part of their 3 and 1 year funding agreements. Rob Mobile will give a brief report on the pilot AQYP Programme and the possibilities for the future.
Main Item and Discussion – “The Value of Accreditation”
There will be presentations from Merton Youth Service, Duke of Edinburgh Award and Volunteer Centre Merton, followed by a short discussion on the value of accreditation and the possibilities for development in Merton.
