Merton Priory Chapter House was one of the largest and most influential monasteries in England. Although all its buildings were demolished by Henry VIII, the excavated foundations of the Priory’s Chapter House remain preserved.
John Hawks has been involved with the Chapter House for over 20 years. As well as discussing the building’s rich history, he will detail improvement
works which will take place over the next year.
