Mitcham Camera Club have a prestigious speaker attending their next meeting which will be of great interest to all and especially local heritage enthusiasts.

Hilary Roberts has worked at the Imperial War Museum since 1980. She was the Head Curator of the museum’s internationally renowned Photography Archive and is now the Research Curator of Photography. She is also a broadcaster and has several publications to her name.

On Wednesday 6 March, Hilary will be giving a talk on “War Photography.” This will take place at the All Saints Centre, The Gardner Hall, New Road, Mitcham, Surrey, CR4 4JN.

Admission is FREE and the doors will be open at 7.30 pm, with the main event starting at 8pm. The venue is close to bus, tram and train services ( Mitcham Junction )
