Unsung Heroes : Black and Asian troops during the First World War- part of Black History Month 2017

Between 1914 and 1918, Black and Asian Servicemen fought for King and Country in their thousands, yet their courage and dedication has often been hidden from history.

This illustrated talk will reveal more about this courageous generation of men, many of whom made the ultimate sacrifice and lie buried far from home and family.

(Re-scheduled event from 13 October 2017 at West Barnes Library)
