The Grandad Tapes--West Barnes Local History Group

“The Grandad Tapes” will take place at West Barnes Library (next to Motspur Park Station) on Tuesday 19 February (10:30 – 12:00) and will feature extracts from the reminiscences of Bill Eacott, a former resident of St. Helier estate.

During his 90 years, Bill Eacott endured poverty, escaped a near death incident, fought for his country in two world wars and served London Transport for over four decades. He was also active in politics and committed to supporting workers’ rights.
